Recreated through the diaries and newspapers of the time, and with the assistance of H.G. Well\u2019s seminal work (\u2018The War of the Worlds\u2019), \u2018The War of the Worlds \u2013 In Real Time\u2019 (@1897WotW) will tell the story of what really happened during that crucial month when the Earth stood on the precipice, and civilization teetered on the edge of extinction.<\/p>\n

Welcome to HG Wells\u2019 The War of the Worlds in Real Time<\/em>. A fictionalised docudrama by:\u00a0 Michael Cnudde, Andrew J. Harvey, Leonie Rogers, Ken Vickery, and H.G. Wells \u2013 based on the documents, diaries, and recordings of those involved in the Martian War.<\/p>\n

Michael, who lives in Toronto, wishes to acknowledge that the city is located on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties, signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands. Although hundreds of years have passed since the first treaties were signed they are still relevant, and Michael remains grateful to have the opportunity to live and work on this land, and continues to respect its first inhabitants.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
