About the story<\/h2>\n

In ‘The City of Silver Light’, Keira Leichman spent the night lost in a wild snowstorm that struck Cassidy Heights. But what really happened that night? Not even Keira can be sure. What she does know is that she’s been having strange dreams since the accident, and now she’s stuck with a broken ankle and the possibility of never playing soccer again.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately that\u2019s not all that\u2019s changing. Just when did she stop thinking of Jake as \u2018Miles\u2019, and start thinking of him as Jake? What was his relationship with Cari, the beautiful ice-girl who mysteriously appeared just before the snow-storm, only to disappear again shortly after. And why are Jake and Daniel, his younger brother, keeping secrets from her?<\/p>\n

Keira is certain it all has something to do with the old brass telescope Jake keeps in his pocket. Daniel warns her to stay away, but Keira is determined to unravel these mysteries. Ruth completed a Bachelor of Arts\/Diploma of Arts in Professional Writing and Editing in 2006.
